26-2992
The FDA has mandated that patient return cords have
a recessed safety connector to minimize the possibility
of patient shock if an attempt is made to plug the cord
into an incorrect source. This cord meets the FDA requirements,
and replaces cords 26-0992 and 80-8008. In order to
use this new cord on older electrosurgical units, the
model 26-1063 adapter is required. The adapter is designed
to be permanently mounted to the patient return jack
on older Cameron-Miller electrosurgical units. This
is a red lightweight cord, 8 ft. long. It connects to
patient return devices 26-0991, 26-1491, and 26-1391.
